The Arab Arabian Knights welcome the Douglas Eagles to the Arab City Schools SportsPlex Friday night in a battle of Marshall County unbeatens to open Class 5A, Region 7 play. Lee Ozmint’s Knights are coming off lopsided wins over rivals Albertville and Brewer. Douglas comes in at 2-0 with victories against Susan Moore and DAR having outscored their opponents 93-14. This year’s matchup with be the third meeting between the cross-county foes in a series that dates back to 2016. Arab holds a 2-0 all-time advantage over the Eagles.
