Offensive Player of the Week | Week 2 | Mason Teague

Southside-Gadsden running back Mason Teague came out on top in CM Gridiron’s Offensive Player of the Week fan poll for week two of the Alabama high school football season. The 5’10, 180 lb junior racked up 174 yards on 17 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns in the Panthers’ 45-7 victory over Class 5A, Region 6 rival Lincoln on Friday night. He picked up 105,276 (48.40%) votes in this week’s interactive voting. Mason and the 2-1 Panthers return to action this week, on the road, at 0-3 Springville’s Tiger Stadium.

• Myron Dunklin | Blount: 8 receptions for 125 yards & 1 touchdown
• Jack Hayes | Piedmont: 20-of-29 passing for 419 yards & 5 touchdowns
• Marcus Ledford | Fort Payne: 6 receptions for 106 yards and 3 touchdowns
• Tyler Nelson | Gardendale: 8-of-10 passing for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns, 107 yards rushing & 2 touchdowns on the ground
• Mason Teague | Southside-Gadsden: 17 carries for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns.
