Defensive Player of the Week | Week 7 | Eli Schlageter

Geraldine’s Freshman, Eli Schlageter, came out on top in CM Gridiron’s Defensive Player of the Week fan poll for week 7 of the Alabama high school football season. The standout defender made 7 stops and returned an interception for a touchdown during the opening drive of the game which became an instrumental play in the Bulldogs’ 16-13 victory over Class 3A, Region 6 foe Westbrook Christian. Schlageter came away with 63,396 total votes (93.90%) in this week’s interactive voting.
