Defensive Player of the Week | Week 8 | Colby Peace

Cleveland’s Colby Peace was named CM Gridiron’s Co-Defensive Player of Week for week 8 of the Alabama high school football season. Peace racked up five tackles and snagged an interception in the Panthers 48-25 victory over Class 2A, Region 6 rival West End.

Week 8 Defensive Player of the Week Nominees:

Jack Amos | Cherokee County- 10 Tackles 2 interceptions and 1 pick 6

Demarcus Chappell | Randolph County- 10 Tackles and 4 sacks

Christian Kemp | Bob Jones- 12 Tackles with 2 tackles for loss and 1 sack

Jaylen Moseley | Priceville- 9 Tackles with 1 tackle for loss and 1 pass breakup

Ricky Nichols Jr. | B. C. Rain- 15 Tackles with 3 tackles for loss; 1 sack and a fumble recovery for a touchdown

Colby Peace | Cleveland- 5 Tackles and 1 interception

Leon Sadler | Tuscaloosa Academy- 12 Tackles and 1 sack

Johnathon Wilson Jr. | Maplesville- 8 Tackles with 1 tackle for loss and 1 interception

    One of the best games I have witnessed in a long time. Jack wasn’t going to be stopping.
