Marion County’s Cade Atkins came out on top in CM Gridiron’s Offensive Player of the Week fan poll for week 8 of the Alabama high school football season. Atkins helped lead the Red Raiders to a 38-13 victory over Class 1A, Region 5 rival South Lamar while rushing for 222 yards on 17 carries and scoring a pair of touchdowns. The offensive standout claimed 71,223 votes (55.88%) in this week’s interactive poll.
