Offensive Player of the Week | Round 2 | Cody Satterfield

Geraldine’s Cody Satterfield came out on top in CM Gridiron’s Offensive Player of the Week interactive fan poll for round 2 of the Alabama high school football postseason. Satterfield hauled in six receptions for 105 yards to help lead the Bulldogs to a 17-14 upset of the No. 1 ranked Mars Hill Bible Panthers. The standout receiver received 70,267 total votes (44.71%) in this week’s interactive voting. Geraldine travels 20 miles north to take on Dekalb County rival Sylvania this Friday night in the AHSAA Class 3A quarterfinals.

Tyler Nelson | Gardendale- 6 for 12 passing for 132 yards and 1 touchdown in the air; 144 yards rushing for 2 touchdowns on the ground

Cody Satterfield | Geraldine- 6 catches for 105 yards

Braiden Thomas | Sylvania- 27 carries for 255 yards and 5 touchdowns; 3 catches for 24 yards

Ty’Jarian Williams | Aliceville- 13 for 23 passing for 213 yards and 3 touchdowns in the air; 122 yards rushing and 1 touchdown
