2022 CM Gridiron Coach of the Year | Michael Davis

Geraldine Bulldogs head football coach Michael Davis came out on top in CM Gridiron’s 2022 Coach of the Year interactive fan poll. Davis claimed 709,350 total votes in the final round of voting to edge out Sylvania’s Tyler Vann (594,692 votes), Pisgah’s Luke Pruitt (342,017 votes) and Marion County’s Kyle Williams (138,122 votes).

Davis, a Geraldine High School alum, closed out his second season at the helm of the Bulldogs program with a 9-4 record leading the Class 3A program to the AHSAA quarterfinals.

CM Gridiron’s first annual Coach of the Year interactive poll received over 2.8 millions votes from high school football fans across the State of Alabama. Take a look back at results from the first round of fan voting. Round 1, Group A | Round 1, Group B.
