Sulligent’s Brooks Bozeman and Geraldine’s Joseph Garcia punched their tickets to the final round in CM Gridiron’s inaugural Defensive Player of the Year interactive poll.
Bozeman lead the seven player Round 1, Group A field with 5,672 votes (75.08%) followed by Garcia who claimed 1,480 votes (19.59%).
Defensive Player of the Year contestants are comprised of winners from CM Gridiron’s Player of the Week awards from the 2022 Alabama high school football season.
Rounding out Round 1, Group A were:
