Marion County High School Red Raiders’ standout, Cade Atkins, captured CM Gridiron’s inaugural Offensive Player of the Year Award. Atkins secured 11,661 votes (54.50%) in the final round of interactive fan voting.
CMG’s Offensive Player of the Year was comprised of Player of the Week winners from the 2022 Alabama high school football season.
Other finalists included Jacob Cornejo of Cherokee County (5,882 votes | 27.49%), Southside-Gadsden’s Mason Teague (3,108 votes | 14.52%) and Marion County’s Joe Aldridge (747 votes | 3.49%).
