Wayne Dabbs | Tabernacle Christian Torches | Graduated 2003 | Current Head Football Coach at The Mount Vernon School in Atlanta, GA

Wayne Dabbs will go down as one of the most prolific athletes to step on the gridiron in Tabernacle Christian School football history. Following a standout prep career, highlighted by a pair of state championship game appearances, he took his talents to the University of the Cumberlands where he starred at receiver for the Patriots. Following his playing career he made the transition to the coaching ranks spending time as an assistant at Cumberland University (TN), Murray State University and the University of West Georgia before returning to Tabernacle as head football coach in 2010.

During his three year stint at his alma mater, Dabbs lead the Torches to a 28-7 record including an undefeated season in 2011 and a pair of back-to-back state titles in 2011 and 2012.

Dabbs is currently the head football coach at The Mount Vernon School in metro Atlanta.
