Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles standout Javis Floyd Jr. emerged as the CM Gridiron Offensive Player of the Week for week two of the Alabama high school football season. Floyd’s performance in the Eagles’ win over Talladega grabbed the attention of fans to garner a staggering 33,696 votes, which accounted for 45.14% of the total votes cast by enthusiastic fans across the State of Alabama.
Floyd’s prowess was on full display as he carried the ball 15 times, amassing an impressive 123 yards and scoring two crucial touchdowns. His efforts were instrumental in leading the Golden Eagles to a decisive 32-12 victory over the Talladega Tigers.
The weekly CM Gridiron poll is a testament to the vibrant community that supports Alabama high school football. Fans eagerly cast their votes, recognizing talent and dedication on the field.
