CM Gridiron’s Team of the Week | Week 5 | South Choctaw Academy Rebels

The South Choctaw Academy Rebels have captured the spotlight as the CM Gridiron Team of the Week for Week 5 of the Alabama high school football season. The Rebels received an impressive 19,039 votes, claiming 48.85% of the total votes cast in the weekly fan-driven, interactive poll.

This accolade follows the Rebels’ dominant 50-0 shutout victory over the Clarke Prep Gators. Under the leadership of legendary head coach Stacy Luker, who is in his inaugural season with the South Choctaw Academy program, the team has achieved an unblemished 6-0 record.

The Rebels’ performance on the field has been nothing short of spectacular, amassing a total of 250 points while their defense has been equally formidable, conceding only 70 points through the first six games of the season. This combination of a high-octane offense and rock-solid defense underscores the team’s remarkable trajectory thus far.

Coach Luker’s impact on the team is evident, bringing a wealth of experience and strategy to propel the Rebels to new heights. The team’s relentless effort and strategic play have not only piled up wins on the gridiron but also garnered admiration from fans across the state of Alabama.

As the season progresses, all eyes will be on the South Choctaw Academy Rebels to see if they can maintain their momentum and continue their path to an AISA state title.
