In an electrifying Week 7 of the Alabama high school football season, Dora Bulldogs’ running back Jayden Griffin claimed the top spot in the CM Gridiron Offensive Player of the Week fan-driven, interactive poll.
Griffin secured the honor claiming 7,188 votes—accounting for a remarkable 32.41% of the total votes cast. His outstanding performance on the field undoubtedly played a significant role in rallying support among fans across the state of Alabama.
On the gridiron at Horace Roberts Field, Griffin’s athletic prowess was on full display. He rushed for an impressive 343 yards, crossing the end zone not once, not twice, but five times, leading the Bulldogs to a commanding 48-13 victory over the Cordova Bulldogs. The Class 4A, Region 5 matchup saw the Bulldogs dominate their Walker County rivals with Griffin’s explosive runs spearheading their offensive onslaught.
