Jacksonville Golden Eagles standout MarQuaVious McNeal has been named the CM Gridiron Defensive Player of the Week for Week 10 in the Alabama high school football season. His remarkable performance on the field captured the attention of fans across the State of Alabama, securing 6,803 votes, accounting for an impressive 52.35% of the total votes cast in the fan-driven, interactive poll.
McNeal’s achievement comes as no surprise given his stellar showing in the Eagles’ thrilling 28-24 victory over the Anniston Bulldogs. McNeal showcased his defensive prowess with an incredible 22 tackles, including 2 tackles for loss. He further demonstrated his ability to disrupt the Bulldog offense by recording a sack and forcing a crucial fumble.
