CM Gridiron’s Team of the Week | Week 4 | St. Luke’s Episcopal Wildcats

Mobile’s St. Luke’s Episcopal Wildcats earned the prestigious title of CM Gridiron’s Interactive Team of the Week for Week 4 of the Alabama high school football season. The Wildcats clinched the top spot in the poll after a hard-fought 12-8 win over the J.U. Blacksher Bulldogs. The victory not only solidified their standing as a Top Ten team in Class 2A but also extended their perfect season record to 5-0, with an impressive 3-0 record in Class 2A, Region 1 play.

One of the critical elements contributing to the Wildcats’ taking the top spot in Week 4’s interactive poll was the unwavering support of their devoted fan base. The CM Gridiron fan-driven Interactive Team of the Week poll saw an astounding turnout, with a total of 28,291 votes cast in favor of St. Luke’s Episcopal. WEEK 4 NOMINEES:

Clements Colts- The Colts came out on top with a big win over the Colbert Heights Wildcats by a score of 50-37.

Hokes Bluff Eagles- Hokes Bluff had a huge region win over Westbrook Christian with a final score of 47-21.

North Sand Mountain Thundering Herd- North Sand Mountain had a big win over the Whitesburg Christian Warriors with a score of 42-26.

Ohatchee Indians- The Indians came out as the winner of a tough region match-up with the Piedmont Bulldogs by a score of 38-21.

Priceville Bulldogs- Priceville had a big win over the New Hope Indians with a final score of 36-14.

Scottsboro Wildcats- Scottsboro topped the Arab Knights in a region game by a score of 28-14.

South Lamar Stallions- In a close battle with the Pickens County Tornadoes, the Stallions won with a final score of 21-20.

Spring Garden Panthers- The Panthers had a huge win over the Winterboro Bulldogs by a score of 15-6.

St. Luke’s Episcopal Wildcats- The Wildcats had a big win over the Blacksher Bulldogs with an ending score of 12-8.

Straughn Tigers- Straughn pulled off a win in a close match-up with the Ashford Yellow Jackets with a score of 17-13.

Susan Moore Bulldogs- The Bulldogs had a big win over the Vinemont Eagles with a final score of 35-16.

Sylvania Rams- In a 3A region matchup of unbeaten teams, the Rams topped the Geraldine Bulldogs by a score of 37-16.

Tabernacle Christian Torches- The Torches had a huge win over Success Unlimited Academy with a score of 46-6.
